EurOmax Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: EOX and OTC Other: EOXFF) announced today additional drill results from the Company’s ongoing drill program at its 100% controlled Trun Gold Project, Bulgaria including several new, high-grade gold intersections.
Reported highlights of drill intercepts include;
- 8 meters at 7.34 grams per tonne gold
- 9 meters at 4.14 grams per tonne gold
- and 44.8 meters at 1.32 grams per tonne gold
In the release, Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to the Company stated: “The objective of our summer 2011 drill program was to test multiple new targets at Trun and we are very pleased with our results to date.”
Over the past year, EurOmax has continued to post up great new gold discoveries and extend the resource values at several of their eastern European projects, with the last official aggregate inferred gold resource figure reported as well over 5 million ounces of gold (July 2011 presentation). As much of the recent drill results have yet to be incorporated into current NI 43-101 reports, we do expect this number to move up materially as this raft of excellent field discovery drill data finds its way onto future and updated resource calculations.
