Revolution Resources (OTC Other: RVRCF; TSX: RV) has discovered a new zone at the Company’s Champion Hills Project complete with high-grade gold and silver mineralization starting at surface. Let’s cut to the chase. The Company’s initial drill hole, JH11-01, intersected 22.53 meters of 6.10 g/t gold and 258.65 g/t silver, including 7.93 meters of 16.06 g/t gold and 698.66 g/t silver and 1.5 meters of 56.6 g/t gold and 2,430 g/t silver. Given these unbelievable results, the Company has indicated its intention to “aggressively follow-up on these discoveries immediately by adding a second drill rig.”
According to Paradigm Capital in comments made this morning about Jericho Hill:
- Jericho (previously known as the Kearns property) is a “virgin” discovery with no historical work done in it. It is located approximately 8km (NE) from the Jones-Keystone and Loflin properties.
- In 2010, Revolution collected 8 grab samples from a 20m long and 10m wide area of outcrop, the samples range from trace values to 6.23gpT Au and 898gpT Ag.
- The first drill hole, JH11-01 returned 22.53m at 6.1gpT Au and 258.6gpT Ag starting at a depth of 28.5m.
- The bonanza grades in conjunction with the broader 1-3gpT material is very encouraging – the lower grades provide the tonnes and the high-grades provide the sweetener.
With a second rig and additional drilling planned, we look forward to more good news in the weeks and months to come.
